Oriental Wall Decor Lion Handle - 4807

Lions Door Guard : One of the miniature replicas from a pair of lions made of brass with Chinese red knot. It was placed at a Chinese homes front gate doors with two wings outside the house. Their function was like that of the foo dogs - keeping the evil spirits out and inviting the good ones to come in.

Displayed in wood frame and glass display.
